RE5 Engine

Post by kanonkopdrinker »

Bought years ago as an insurance policy, I feel the time is approaching where I might never need it as the present Suzuki lump continues to run okay ....One brand new (or NOS as they say) RE5 rotary engine (Comprising rotor & seals, eccentric shaft, rotor housing and both side plates) sealed with the Suzuki wire and lead seal.Still in the polystyrene box (inside the cardboard one).Price? Difficult to call this one .... though there was one which sold on eBay last year for a tad over £3k (to an Australian) .... so I would aim for around the same - due largely to the place in Lochaber which is in dire need of serious money being spent on it!!The engine is currently in storage in the spare bedroom (eg in dry conditios) in Essex, UK.I would probably be able to arrange delivery to most of the UK (or overseas buyers could very likely get one of the international courier firms such as DHL, Fedex etc to collect)I thought I would give ROC folks first chance at this before it goes on eBayDavid
