Gearbox spline

Strange question but does anyone know whether the spline that goes into the clutch centre on the Triumph based gearbox (Interpol, Commander etc) is the same as on a Norton Commando etc. Thank you.

I don't know for sure but I would think it highly unlikely that they are the same, otherwise why would Nortons have gone to Triumph for the G/Box?(which had to be upgraded anyway),J.B.
