Nothing to do with Norton's but does anyone know of a coil that is 3.5 to 5.0 Ohms primary resistance dual output.I have an Electronic ignition on one of my old brit bikes and the new coils are £100.00 So I am trying to find something more affordable, by the way. DYNA coils are no good as they kill the ignition I'm told.Andy

I use Dyna coils on my Egli Vincent fitted with Lucas Rita ignition adapted from a T140 Bonneville with no problems at all. They were sold to me by Mistral Engineering who are the Rita specialists & are what they recommend. Derek.

Hi Derek, I have one of Francois ignitions on my twin and he has found that for some reason the dyna coils kill the ignition.Obviously the Lucas isn't affected in the same way. I will give John at mistral a call and see if he can give me any pointers.ThanksAndy
