Recording Chamber Pressure
One of the Tools used with the Suzuki RE-5 was a compression tester. The current Market for the used Suzuki RE-5 often has references to a Used Model still registering sufficient pressure in all 3 chambers, etc.Did/Do the Norton Faithful have a Reference # for a "good set of Rotors"? A tool for making such a reading?Just wonderin'.CW

						Re: Recording Chamber Pressure
I spent a bit of time & a lot of money at the Shenstone factory, late 80`s, early 90`s. When I asked how to check compression I was shown a pair of big gauges mounted on a board that the works used. I was told good compression was so low that normal compression testers would not record a satisfactory test figure. They were cagey about what that figure should be on a sound engine.Derek F.

Re: Recording Chamber Pressure
I reckon the compression is well low compared with conventional engines, hence the reason they are the easiest bike I have ever had to "bump start"
(bit like an old side valve
