I lived there for two years and sadly the average American knows of nothing outside the US borders. The bigger worry is the educated class. They KNOW there's nothing worth knowing outside the US and are the ones that always 'know best' and will, most likely, be the ones who won't amend the text. Wonder what they'll describe it as should they sell it?The rreason we have national stereotypes is because they are usually accurate!So I'm afraid that in my experience they are that ignorant, and won't accept they can't be right.
