Lot 181 1990 Norton 588cc F1 Frame no. P55-050110 Engine no. 05011010 in sale 22727: The Autumn Stafford Sale: Important Collectors' Motorcycles sold for hammer price £18,000.
Re: Bonhams NORTON F1
The National Motorcycle Museum bought it, so at least I didn't have to take it back home with me (it's not mine, I was just the delivery man). I was interested in the Münch Mammut Lot No. 152 ( I think ) and was expecting it to reach around £50,000.00 but it did considerably better at £75,000.00 so that didn't come home with me either which is just as well as I don't have enough room in my garage and I can't afford it. Would have looked good in my lounge though.Joe.
Re: Bonhams NORTON F1
Hi joe I know the museum have two F1,s already and have two blown F1 engines including the eccentric shafts, is a summation but I can only think they want another F1 for 1 reason.Regards Wayne

Re: Bonhams NORTON F1
I know where new F1/P55 excentric shafts are.... if that was the problem.
