Hi all I'm nick from near Whitby , purchased commander from russ in northants in January previous owner ,sir mark Goodson ,what a machine ,have just fuelled it oiled it ridden it and its lived up to all expectations.wanted one for years .One question? Is there still a club producing a club magazine?

Yes Nick!There is a new club newsletter in production (just as soon as I have finished collating it all) but will only be issue 2/2012 due to (a) a shortage of contributions (many thanks to those who responded to my pleas) and (b) a shortage of time on my part ... mea culpa maxima.I shall look up your email address and send you a membership form.Cheers,David

Hello Nick,I remember Sir Mark Goodsons instructions for the rebuild I did for him:Mechanically, make it as good as possible. Cosmetics, couldn't care less what it looks like!He's a real gentleman I'm proud to know. Your bike is indeed one of the best Commanders I've ridden. All the best,Graham.
