IP2 Coils

Hi does anyone know the correct specs for the original IP2 coils? I know that they were used by Yamaha on some of their 70-80's bikes but what voltage were they etc etc.Thanks Paul

Also does anyone know if this was exactly the same coil as used on the air cooled Rd's as for one they were points inductive ignition systems where as the IP2 used the Sparkrite CDI system?

Richard advised me that the original IP2 coils were triggered by a 400volt pulse rather than a contact breaker. It should be in an earlier thread on IP2 digital ign.
