RE5 oil temperature

Hi \r\rI know that a rotary engine run very hot, but how hot ? Does anyone know the ideal and the maximum oil temperature for a Suzuki RE5 ?\r\r-Tonny

Good question! No idea, but as it needed an oil radiator I would guess it's pretty warm....

Tonny, I got these from the RE5 SAE paper (no.770190)...\r\rOil temp.\r\r2,000 rpm - 85c\r3,000 rpm - 95c\r4,000 rpm - 103c\r5,000 rpm - 115c\r6,000 rpm - 128c\r7,000 rpm - 148c\r\rIt was a very small graph so the temperatures might be out by 2 or 3 degrees - but it gives you an idea.
