Voltage regulator

Post by Ageing Rotarian »

Gents, has anyone recently replaced their voltage regulator on their classic and if so which one did you use?
Need to change the one on my classic and need some direction.
Thanks as always

Roy,

My Commander, may be different from a Classic. I use an Electrex World RR10 (it is marked as suitable for a Norton?) in last 13 years I have averaged 45k miles and had to replace one regulator rectifier.

As you will no doubt be aware it is important that the RR is not located in an area where it may get too hot.

Good luck
Tony
