Registered A834 BWE, frame 2040. Seems to be most of the Police equipment with it too. Would have been a great buy for one of the coppers who rode it !

'A' reg (I think) makes it a 1982/3? a real early one,J.B.

Engine number was 3011.

Frame number is definately 3040, there is a clear photo of the frame ID plate, Andrew Spicer seems to make a point of doing that.
Looks a good bike, hope someone enjoys it and does'nt find a horror story hidden behind all those panels !

My intention is to turn it into an adventure bike. I have Tiger 800XC forks for the front. I will keep the angular tank and seat and fit an angular fairing in aluminum to match . Box style rear panniers and retain the single seat.

Hi Rupert, I have just bought a "civilianised" IP 11, which came with a couple of boxes of misc bits and bobs, inc these two which you may find usefull ?? Drop me a line to have a rummage or just a chat. Are you local to Selby ??

For those of you that remember it, my Classic had the 3/4 fairing from a Triumph 900 Triple that I adorned it with,(and very nice it looked too)I sold the bike naked as it left the factory,but I still have the fairing(and all the fixtures and fittings+sub-frame with the twin H/light's)just the thing for your project?I have photo's if you want to have a look,J.B.
