Wanted by a Classic owner in Germany .... a new (or reconditioned second-hand) starter motor for an air-cooled Norton ...
And he goes on to ask ...
By the way: I have some trouble with my Norton Classic.
If the warm engine is in idle for more than 10 seconds the right rotor stops to work and the RPM drops very low.
The running left rotor is usually unable to accelerate the engine enough to get the right one back to work.
Any advice or idea?
Anyone able to offer any help?
David
PS/ Any offers of a starter-motor, message me and I'll forward it onto Germany.

Re: Classic starter motor wanted
Clemens has already been contacted .... but he's in Luebeck and this German rotarian lives at the southern end of Germany.
So the quest remains .... anyone have a new starter motor for an air-cooled Norton?
Or know if it's the same as for any other machine?
