.Can anyone tell me if the exchange rate from Stirling to Euros is the same in all the E.U.countries?or doe's it vary from country to country?
The reason I ask this is, last year on the way back to the UK from Italy I changed up some Stirling to Euros in Germany and received a very favorable exchange rate
,(much better than the rate I received from the Post Office in the UK 
) Oh,and I don't do "Plastic" when not in the UK(I know,my family also despair
