Hi guys, this has nothing at all with anything mechanical .
Can anyone tell me if the exchange rate from Stirling to Euros is the same in all the E.U.countries?or doe's it vary from country to country?
The reason I ask this is, last year on the way back to the UK from Italy I changed up some Stirling to Euros in Germany and received a very favorable exchange rate ,(much better than the rate I received from the Post Office in the UK ) Oh,and I don't do "Plastic" when not in the UK(I know,my family also despair )J.B.

Re: exchange rate
The official Euro exchange rate is standard through the EU but banks etc will each have their own rates, just as in the UK where it’s wise to shop around to find the best deal.
Why on earth do you not use ‘plastic’ when you’re abroad John? You will get the best rate of exchange by doing so!
