NML Open Day
Nick, and all others,Open Day is just that - the doors are open and everyone is welcome to look around, see who we are, and what we do.There will be several racers, and racer-replicas, although BC says he is unable to bring his NRV.Leanne will have her snack bar here again and the hot drinks are free to all. There are two awards, one for 'Best Rotary' (in the opinion of an independent expert), and another for the furthest travelled (by rotary, of course) from home.Look forward to seeing you all at RugeleyRichard, Peter M & Peter K.

NML Open Day
A big THANK YOU to all who made it to our Open Day. After one cold one, and one wet one, it was very pleasing to have a sunny one.Long distance award went to Macer Durrant (Tig) on his F1 and the Best Rotary to David Brown with his Commander-based cafe racer. Thanks to all those who brought bikes for display, including Keith & Paul Richardson, Malcolm, Peter Stanger, Don Green and others too numerous to mention ; Tony Haywood's racer looks very promising - and has an F1 engine with a bit of history of its own. It was specially built by the Race Shop for a hill climb car, featuring fan cooling and methanol/nitro electronic fuel injection. It raced at places such as Prescott and Shelsley Walsh and was unbeatable in the 1100cc class. One of the drivers went on to build a complete four-rotor engined car (with three injectors per port !) which he still has, but hasn't used for several years.Richard, Peter M & Peter K
