Norton TRRL on ebay

Post by BlackIP2 »

And hey another rotary on eBay!
It never rains... but three rotaries in as many days?
This one looks like the genuine IP2 that went to TRRL for safety additions. Not a bad price either and looks virtually new.

Remember this is not road regsitered and it may not be possible either due to it being experimental TRRL and fitted with non functioning trial ABS..
I may be wrong but I dont think so. red face red face
Living near to TRRL I know others who have fallen foul of this issue with other bikes or crash damaged salvage.
Various rubbish in various states of decay.....

Yes, some very good points that probably explain why he's having trouble selling it. I see it's now come up again, for the third or fourth time. Maybe £6.5k is just too much to pay for something that's only ever going to be a show bike, even if it runs. But as it is part of Norton's rotary development story, perhaps the motorcycle museum or Gaydon heritage centre might buy it.

I suppose if one was building a "special" one could use the bikes engine, running gear and various other bits, but six and a half grand is a bit much for starters evil,J.B.
