Electronic instrument repair

Dear all, has anyone used a reliable repairer for electronic tachometers? The one on the DKW is showing some signs of life but does not want to move above 1000 rpm.
Maybe another issue but it may need some TLC.

Hi Roy, check all the connections especially to the rectifier behind the headstock.
As the rev counter receives it's signal from there.
