Mine for 25 enjoyable years. My brother's before me. And West Midlands Police before that.
Used every year and absolutely ready to go.
Mot to May2026.
Last used to go to 2025 Brittany NOC International and all prepared for the next event in Italy and summer rides in the Dales.
Last year new tyres, rear brake master cylinder overhauled, new brake pistons/seals on rear. New battery. New brake pads throughout. Fluids changed. Water pump oldham coupling checked and re-lubed. Clutch cable renewed.
This bike is in white. The single seat is retained. A pillion seat has been set into the rear radio box lid. Pillion footrests. And has served my wife well for 25 years.
Engine stripped, moly'd, and reassembled by Startright some years ago.
Now at 80,000 miles, of which 30k were with the police.
A complete new gearbox cluster was fitted when my brother took the bike from the police. Using my small size 8's all has been well.
Offered for £3,000 with manuals, some rotella engine oil, spare new Boyer Brasden ignition, alternator, clutch cable, special tools.
Sadly, I have got to the time in life where luggage, pillion, my short legs, and a fall to the left when stationary last year have made me accept the inevitable.
