Hi J.B
my dad has owned his commander since march 1994, its on an F plate and has 29k miles on the clock and he got it direct from the ambulance service at auction, it was a paramedic bike and got converted to a 2 seat and painted candy red and dark grey, i took it to shenston to be mollied a year after he got it but its not been used for 18 years after he had an accident on another bike which left him on crutches for 3 years and it was left out side under a bike cover for that time but later taken it a shed where it stayed and slowly deteriorated until a few years ago when i took it home with me to make a start on it but it one thing lead to another and it didnt happen but now we are recommissioning it this winter ready for next year everything is there and i have had it running recently but it does need complete strip and going through from top to bottom so lots to do and new parts to find but with any luck we will get it back to its former glory. Hopefully we will be taking both bikes to shows, bike and club meets.
regards Andy.
