FREE on collection

Post by Richard Negus »

Now I have fully retired, the following are available FREE OF CHARGE, but must be collected from Louth in Lincolnshire.

Texaco 85W-140 oil, about 15litres. The correct gearbox oil for IP2, Classic, and Commander.

Silkolene Classic 2T premix, about 3 litres, the preferred engine oil for all Norton rotaries.

Comma DOT 4 brake fluid, 5 litres, still in original sealed can.

Three Bond joint compound, 250 gram, (the grey stuff), un-opened.

Petroleum jelly (aka Vaseline) about10kg, used in engine building to hold rotor seals in place.

To be clear, these items are Collection Only! If they don't go, they'll end up in the skip along with all the other stuff.
Call me on 01507 363 503.

Richard

Good Evening Richard, I will give you a ring on Saturday to arrange if that is OK, I am 90 minutes away from you.
You and Pete overhauled my TRL Commander at Rugeley many moons ago, happy days indeed !

What other "stuff" are you disposing of, anything to interest an IP 11 owner ??

Best Regards dave perry

Hi Dave,
Long time no see!
I'm home both Saturday and Sunday if you want to phone.
I've got a few other odds and ends, including a Classic r/h plate in good condition, but several broken fins at the lower edge. A decent alloy welder could repair it. Also a pair of 8.6 rotors, both with wear marks from the rotor bearings, otherwise good.

Not much else, I'm afraid.

Rgds,
R.

Cheers Richard, that endplate might come in handy. IP11, 3366, EX Cypress RAF, is at Andover Norton with a noisy engine. RP suspects a shot bearing but we will see. If I use it I will make a suitable donation to the Air Ambulance; otherwise I will hang on to it until someone else may need it. Best Regards dp

Hi Dave,
Confirming receipt of your payment, thank you.
You don,t want a 4", and pillar drill, a press, or a classy multi-meter, all at bargain prices
