Post by GerryT »

Reading past info on gearbox oil it seems 140 weight is good , should this be Gl 4 or GL5
Would this quite down 3rd gear at the moment I am using 75/90 weight

I have seen 85/140 GL5 recommended, and is what I use. I have used a moly additive in the past, but not currently, Good Luck with 3rd !!

I found the one that H/Davidsons recommend for their bikes( made the old g/box run a lot quieter) I used it for years in my Classic(and it's bright red,so any leaks are quickly spotted)J.B.
