hi all just thinkng about this why is it only outside figure of 8 that is done 1/2" wide say and not the whole panel is it the tips that are prone to scrathing
im just wondering

I believe in aero-engines the whole of the side plate is moly coated ....

Suzuki took a leaf out of a Spirograph (remember those?) for theirs
