IP2 or Classic clutch cable wanted

Post by BlackIP2 »

Anyone got a clutch cable for either the Norton IP2 or Classic that is surplus to requirements?
Just servicing my IP2 and found the cable nipple dug so tightly into the release arm in the primary drive cover that I had to chisel it out.
Probably not been apart for goodness knows how long so perhaps no surprise, but a replacement now needed and no longer available from either Startrights or ANM.
Hopefully someone out there has one please?
Cheers

Forgot to say that I don't expect there are any new cables around so it's a used clutch cable I am after - unless there is a new one you have spare.
Please PM me if you have one that you don't need.
Cheers

I have used Venhill Cables in Dorking, who I believe may have produced some factory ones. They will require the old one to match.

Mark,

Venhill made a full set of throttle and choke cables for my Commander, I'm sure they would be able to make you a clutch cable for your classic, as previously advised they will want your old cable, this is the e-mail address I used; sales@venhill.co.uk.
