IP2/Classic clutch cable

Post by BlackIP2 »

Anyone know if there are any clutch cables about for the IP2 or Classic?
Both Startrights and Andover list them as out of stock.
Mine hasn't gone yet, but having been on a VMCC run last week where two bikes had their clutch cables snap reminded me that I ought to carry a spare.
Otherwise I suppose the alternative is to just get one made up.

If your clutch cable looks to be in need of replacing I would suggest you contact a company I use in Ellesmere Port Cheshire who manufacture aircraft cables., they are quite cheap they will of course need your old cable to use the parts
If your interest let me know and I will give you the number

Thanks for that, but what I am after is a second cable to have as a spare and I can, if needs must, get one made locally by a guy who does all the Velocette OC cables.
I was just trying to see if there were any new ones left anywhere but it looks like there aren't.
