Which Plug

I have just been given 2 spark plugs for the IP2. These are NGK 7471, are they really for the rotary? Nothing like the plugs in my engine nor my previous IP2 [why did I sell her} nor in the manual.

I have used from the start NGK C8E 7471 with no issues.

Roger,
7471 is NGK's stock number for their C8E plug. That one seems best all round for Norton rotaries.

I'll go with Richard on that,I have tried various other plugs over the years but have always found NGK's C8E's to be the best all-rounder for our rotaries,J.B.
