Ferry Crossing
Hi guys,I have just returned from a ride out on the Classic, hav'nt been out on the old girl since before christmas, had to fill up with petrol while out, nasty shock,£18 quid!! for about 16ltrs of "go juice". I was thinking of riding down through France to northern Spain(Santander) for this years N.O.C. Int;rally, with fuel this expensive I may have to take the ferry option, for those of you that are thinking of going this route, the N.O.C. has done a deal with "Brittany Ferries" and given us a discount if we use the Portsmouth/Santander route. On the 24hr crossing a "reclining chair" is avaliable for those who want to get there without the cost of a cabbin.Hope to see lots of you rotarians there, ride safely,regards,J.B.
