Insert images in text ???

Can anyone tell me how to insert images into a text post. Rather than posting an image in My Gallery, I'd like to be able to illustrate a post to make it more clear (' .....worth a thousand words etc..')R.

Oh you appear to be catching up Richard I must keep this a secret . No you appeared to be doing it right on the attempt you made but...in using IMG to add a picture the item must first be hosted at a url and on this site it must be below 100 x 100 pixels.Hope this helps if not I can step thru it, but photo bucket is the best picture host to log on to I think.CheersPaul

Hello Richard and Paul,I've increased the size of linked files to 500 by 500 and also added some 'beta' software to allow posting of images directly. When adding a post, scroll down and click on 'upload attachment'.Try it out, see how you get on.below is a test image uploaded this way.Graham (Site Admin)

Best keep the image size down! I'll refine the addon over the next dew days, at the moment you can upload any size!Graham

Thanks for the guidance, all !Like this (if it works for me) ?R.Took a while to find one of a suitable size !Now do I need some photo editing software to reduce the pixel size of most of my snaps to the maximum 800 x 800 ?
