Check out this museum in Germany...http://www.autovision-tradition.de/auto ... ache=enRun cursor over square photos at bottom of page.The Museum is near Hockenheim. They have, among others, a Van Veen, a Norton Interpol 2, a Mercedes C111 !!!, a Citroen Bi-rotor, a 110 Cosmo and a Rolls Royce Diesel Wankel engine.

Hi Derek, The ROC went there a few years ago during a Wankel Treffen; a wonderful collection by a very well heeled German, but the fine patina of dust spotted on some of the exhibits, suggest that many don't turn a wheel from one end of the year to the next. Given that the bikes were (are?) up on an elevated galllery, it would be a pain to get them out.

Damn! :evil: ... One day i will find out something about rotaries that you dont already know... one day... well, maybe not :lol: What are the other two rotary bikes they have? you cant see them in the photo, let me guess, DKW & RE5 ??\ found the museum while looking for info on the Merc C111, what a rare beast to have on display. Yep, a W2000 & a RE5; I seem to recall their only Norton was an IP2 (no Commander, F1 or Classic) and if memory serves, it had a 2xxx frame number which I guess means it was a prototype?
