Hi guys, About 6 weeks ago I brought a commander on EBay It is now on its way to Me here in NZ
But I know when it arrives (in 10 days) the customs people will need to check chassis number with paper
Work. Can someone let me knows it's location so I can give them a heads up.
Cheers Blair.

Re: Chassis number location
I think you'll find the four digit number '4xxx' on the headstock; not always easy to spot with the fairing.
Good to hear from you Blair.

Re: Chassis number location
Hi Blair,
Turn the bars to the left and look at the r/h side of the headstock.
There is, or should be, an anodised aluminium VIN plate held on by four dome-head rivets and, as David says, that is stamped with the engine/chassis number '4XXX' and the date of manufacture.
The engine number is stamped on the r/h engine casting, close by the carburettor.

Just a bike-less old fogey now. Boo-hoo!
