Just had a browse on your Silk website and was reading Dave Roper's article about buying his Silk. I too was on that IOM ferry in 1974 with the two Silks, I recall it was pi---ng down and we spent most of the crossing in our barbour suits. I joined the RAF about 2 weeks after I got back………. Happy days
