A good friend of ours in Australia has a bit of a thing for unusual bikes, he owns a Hesketh, F1, home made BSA OHC singles and even built himself a V twin. Of more interest to you guys is his air cooled race bike.Home brewed rotary race bike.

Yes it goes very well indeed, we only saw it race at one meet but it was incredibly fast and light.

Re: Home brewed rotary race bike.
Any idea what sort of power it produces(I think Malc has managed about 95bhp on one of his)Very Happy)J.B.
Re: Home brewed rotary race bike.
The frame seat and tank look like a Yamaha TRX 850. Just saw one of those in Motorcycle Monthly for £850, Hmm, sell the engine for whatever, then find a donor IP2 and...............
Re: Home brewed rotary race bike.
Its a home made frame so not sure if a Norton would fit in a TRX. Im not sure what the tank and seat are from, he would have just had them sitting in a corner somewhere

Not sure about the power output to be honest, I think adequatejohnbirchjar wrote:Any idea what sort of power it produces(I think Malc has managed about 95bhp on one of his)Very Happy)J.B.
