It is with great sadness that I have to report that John Birch (JB) has passed away after a short illness. JB went in peace with Julie and Alan by his side..
JB never lost interest in the rotary community, although he had parted with his Classic which he had owned since it was new. He will be much missed by his family and friends. There will be a celebration of JB's life next month in his home county of Essex. I will post details when I know them.

Sad news indeed. I always enjoyed our interactions here on the forum and when I met him a couple of times at Popham.

I last met JB in Spain, on the ball as usual and good company, he and I shared many a post when he was running his Classic, I will miss the banter.
John always signed off with the following so I think it is only fitting that I end this post as he would have done.

Re: John Birch (JB)
I'm very sorry to hear of John Birch's passing. I first met him at the Beezumph at Cadwell when he came over and had a chat about me riding my Classic on track. A very friendly and knowledgable man who will be missed.
