I heard something disconcerting today.
A guy I play golf with was relating a tale of a biking friend of his who's wife had her motorcycle fall on her while they were at the I.O.M.TT,she was quite seriously injured and had to be helicoptered to Liverpool,it cost him £12,000
'cos his bike insurance didn't cover the I.O.M. 
,evidently(in the small print of his policy 
)the I.O.M. isn't mainland UK.I have never heard of this before,but insurance companies being the slippery b******s that they are, I do not doubt it.
Needless to say I shale be phoning my bike insurance company tomorrow to get some clarification,SVF,J.B.
