clutch locking tool

does anyone know if the commando clutch locking tool fits the commander clutch thank you

Alas it doesn't. A couple of old clutch plates (if you can find any) bolted together will do the job.

Thank you will try and contact Startrite to see if i can buy a couple of used ones

I have a full factory tool set if you are local to Hampshire as I really don't want to post if wanted to have a quick borrow.
Various rubbish in various states of decay.....

You don't need a locking tool to remove clutch hub remove the circlip and bearing while the clutch is in place you can get to the nut just lock the fly wheel job done thank you Startrite for the infro

Thank you for the offer of your locking tools very kind of you this is what makes the club what it is
l have tried Startright method of removing clutch and it works, clutch removed engine out and off to be molyed
