IP2/Classic front wheel

Does anyone know how to remove the speedo drive off the front wheel on the Grimeca alloys fitted to the IP2 and Classic?
The workshop manual simply says "Extract the speedometer drive gear" without explaining how to actually extract it.
I have cleaned all the grease off that area to have a closer look but it is not obvious. Is it a press fit or maybe left handed screw?
I need to remove the wheel bearings and then sand blast the wheels in readiness for coating or painting, so they have to be completely stripped first.

It's a press fit; just needs a couple of tyre levers to prise it off.

What a doddle - it came straight off in less than 10 seconds!
After something like 35 years on the front wheel exposed to who knows what, I was expecting it to be a real struggle. In my view a real testament to the build quality of the rotaries by Richard and colleagues at Shenstone.

Mark,
Very kind of you - but we couldn't really take all the credit for that.
Wheels were supplied by Grimeca, fully machined, and the speedo drive bits also came from Italy, both items originally specified for the Morini 350 vee-twin.
All we did was assemble them with a bit of grease to ease assembly and, as you've found, removal.
