The Toolset of a Classic contains a hook. What is it for? I guess it has something to do with the removal of the rearwheel?
If so where do you hook things on?
Thanks, Jannes
Hook
Re: Hook
Forgot; if someone has such a hook for sale, i would be interested as i don't have a toolset with my Classic (wonder in whose garage my Toolset is lying). I've bought an empty toolrol from A/N, so that i can make make a complete Toolset for my Classic, but A/N doesn't sell the hook.
Thanks, Jannes

Re: Hook
Hi Jannes,
When you are removing the rear wheel, the brake caliper and plate must first be removed and moved out of the way. The hook is to support the caliper when doing this.
In my opinion, a bit over-kill and an unnecessary item.

Yep, Richard is right, in 30odd years of Classic ownership, I have never once used "The Hook",J.B.
