IP2 oil switch

My engine oil level switch is not working - does anyone know how to repair this?

Does the light work at all if you press the test button?
I would check the wiring first especially at the back of the speedo housing (red and white connector blocks)

Yes, thanks, the light works, but I have solved the problem now. I gained access to the small reed switch inside the brass tube by unsoldering the bottom tip of the brass tube, and it turned out, that the wire had broken from the terminal of the switch. I found a suitable reed switch at RS Components, part no. 229-3658, soldered a new wire to it, isolated the solder spot with flex and remounted the lot, including resoldering the tip, and now it works.
