Commander Handlebars

Does anyone know what handlebars were used on the Commander as I need one?Thanks as usual paul

PaulContact Graham at Startright....I had a bump on my commander a few years ago and one of the jobs Graham did was to change my bars from chrome to stainless steel...he reconded they are much stronger....he may have them in stock.Good luck ..Bernard

Wassell do some stainless standard bars I wonder if this is what he used??

I would be wary of stainless steel bars. They are generally much thinner steel tubing and bend easily in a spill. Not up to the job IMHO. They are made from thinner stainless tube because thicker tubing would be too hard to bend without kinking.

Many years ago I bought a set from Graham. I asked him how strong they'd be and he said that they were the thickest that his maker could still bend without kinking. They are certainly thicker than the originals.Can't really say how strong they are in practised since I haven't dropped the bike though. And they're still shiny.
