Roller Bearings and 200 HP Nortons
Among the most important lessons of the 588 was that the Roller Bearing model and the air kooled rotor (damned smilies...) were legitimate advances. Max Bentele referred to the RBs as "anti-friction bearings". The Star Mazda Racing Series sealed the (Plain Bearing) Rotaries because post race teardowns were simply not needed. The 588s were very reliable as well.AS the horsepower went up, however, so did the stresses. 165 HP on a 588 twin rotor is a lot, especially with no Center Main Bearing.Would it be safe to assume that 200+ HP puts the Roller Bearings at their limits, given the design limits of the no-center-main-bearing Housing? In short, will the 200+ HP 700P of Mr. B.C. put on more of a show than we expect on the back straight when the bike is opened up?CW

First test track report :- It also had it's first track test away from the rolling road as you know there is a difference, the 204bhp 100lb torque of 134kg is not just fast but really bloody fast Definitely bike for the top test/race rider and not the inexperienced.
