Vibrating brakes
Hi guys, since putting new brake pads on the rear of the Classic a couple of months back, the vibration and noises from said brake has got realy bad,(it has vibrated quietly in the past for years)any ideas?(I/we seem to have had this discussion in the past?evil)rgds,J.B.
Re: Vibrating brakes
I had this problem on my Commander a few years ago albeit with Yamaha brakes. The cure for me was to change from sintered brake pads to organic compound. They are easier on your discs as well. I think Ferodo are available from Motoworld the BMW parts specialist part number FDB108P Also pay attention to the lubrication of your brake pedal and linkage to the master cylinder as they are prone to stiffening up.
