Koni Rebuild

Post by gripper »

After waiting for Hagon to not let me know that there would be a 3-4 week wait for IP2 rear units I have decided to rebuild my Koni units. Norman Hyde is the dealer for Ikon parts (which are what motorcycle Konis have become) and can supply seal kits for around £20+vat &p&p. It looks like a messy job, anybody done it before? I believe shock absorber oil is not the same as fork oil? Also while I'm here, I recall Richard Negus searching for a source of new fork gaiters. Anybody any further ideas on this before I duplicate his effort? TVM

I have a set of brand new springs for the Koni's if you go down that route?
Various rubbish in various states of decay.....
