FUEL CAT /IP2
Has anyone any views on using FUEL CAT in a IP2
Re: FUEL CAT /IP2
Why? Rotarys run on almost anything.I have never believed the sales pitch for all these additives & gismos. If they worked the vehicle manufacturers would install themI run all my vehicles, which all do high milages, on standard unleaded. These are Vauxhall Cresta 1960, 40,000 miles in my ownership. Two Norton Dominators, about 20,000 miles.Laverda 750 SF. 5,000 miles& others including my Vincent Twin.On Rotarys I have covered about 250,000 miles on standard unleaded. All this with no ill effects & with original "soft" valve seats. In my opinion valve seat recession & the scare that you had to have hardened valve seats to run unleaded was a big con foisted on the classic vehicle world. Most classic vehicles only go down to the local meeting place once a week & cover minimal milages so having hardened seats or additives is a waste of money.Derek F.
