Temprature Switch Paste
Hi Richard,am I correct in thinking (some time ago)you told me that there has to be some sort of "paste" under the temprature switch? (the one on the Classic has come apart and I am having to fit a new one)If so,whats it called and where can I get some?rgds,J.B.

Re: Temprature Switch Paste
John,Heat transfer compound or paste, available from RS or Maplins. A small tube is about £5 and you only need a spot. It's worth visiting a computer repair shop and ask them for a blob on your switch. To be honest, I often can't find the tube and switches get fitted without it, and I haven't noticed any difference.R.
Just a bike-less old fogey now. Boo-hoo!

Re: Temprature Switch Paste
Thanks for that Richard,if memory serves, the last time I had the switch off,(can't remeber why,it was a number of years and many miles ago )I put it back without the paste and it seemed to work just fine,so I'll do the same this time ,ride safe,J.B.
