Back on the Road

My Interpol is back on the road. Many thanks to Graham Wilshaw of Startright for his assistance.

That is a fine looking machine.
May I say ... as an Interpol 2 owner ... looking at the centre stand it might be worn and causing it to allow the bike to rock back too far which in turn makes it heavy to take off the stand. The good news is it can be repaired by taking the stand off and building up the wear surfaces with weld then grinding back to where it started off when new. Start right motorcycles can sell you a refurbished on if needed.
These bikes are quite something. Mine was given to me by a good friend who used it every day putting 150,000 miles on it (yes one hundred and fifty thousand) and would think nothing of shipping it to Canada and leaving via America doing 6,000 miles. They are extreemly reliable. One fact that I can hardly believe is the final drive chain is original.
The main weakness my IP2 has is the wiring harness and connectors but this should be resolved when a new one arrives, again from Start right M/Cs.
I hope you enjoy IP2 ownership as much as I am.
