Hi all, what are the detail differences between the 27 and 33 bhp versions of the W2000 engine, carburation etc?

In my limited knowledge of the DKW/ Hercules 294cc rotary, the compression ratio has never changed from 7.5 to one.
Later engines (Black tank bikes), had a mikuni pump to provide 2 stroke oil instead of the pre-mix of the 'red tank' machines.
I don't think the yellow tank prototypes were much different.
Would love to hear from someone more knowledgeable. Especially if you know of any early engines with an offset higher compression combustion chamber.

Hi Ian,
I thought that the differences were between the 24 and 27 bhp ratings of the engines on the production models ... and AFAIK, there are no actual differences in the engines - more a change of paperwork supplied from the German factory?
Let me speak with Heiner Brinkmann and see if I can confirm either way.
