Need a bit of help identifying certain wires on my bike. Where to connect them to the Minimag ignition-unit i've bought.
The info that came with the unit talks about different wirecolors than my bike has, hence me asking.
Like to know where the following wires on my bike go to/come from.
1. 2-way-connector with 2 white-yellow and 1 black wire.
2. 2-way-connector with an orange wire and a black-red wire.
3. 3-way-connector with an brown-red wire, an brown-white wire and a black wire.
All info welcome!!
Jannes

Graham had wiring info for his box on the Startright website. The Andover box is different.

Hi Wayne.
Youre right about this. I've tried the site.
Unfortunately the wiring-files don't open on the site when i click on them.......
Of course i have a wiring-diagram from Minimag, but the wire-colors on their diagram differs from my bike's wire-colors.

Hello Assen,
Sorry with these odd questions but I am brand new within the Norton Rotary world (I am the proud owner of CLASSIC LE043)
What is a Minimag ignition-unit ?
On what type of Norton rotary has it to be fitted if so ?
What is it used for ?
Thank you

Jerome,
https://minimagneto.co.uk/Norton-Rotary.php
The Minimag ignition unit replaces wire for wire the original Boyer ignition unit as fitted to the Commanders.
I have no experience of the Classic or Interpol II bikes but there are many others on the forum who will be able to assist.
Good luck
Tony

Re: Classic wiring/Minimag
Hi Jerome,
As I have mentioned a couple of posts ago on this subject,I replaced the original Boyer ignition system on my Classic with a Minimag one,and I had no problem at all,as to the difference? the Boyer system is a square box like shape as apposed to the Minimag which is more longer and thinner,I hope this helps,J.B.
