New Rotary owner

Post by andygbsmith »

Hi everyone,I am now the prowd owner of a 1990 Commander, the bike is a one owner bike that used to belong to a club member in Devon. It's just turned 56K and is in good running order. It's got a couple of faults that hopefully wont be to hard to sort.1 The idle takes a long time to come back to 600RPM. It took about 10 miles before it dropped back.2 The temp gauge is reading low, sticking at about 80oC.I pulled the gauge out today and just cleaned the terminals but can you test it on the bench?I should probably ask the questions in the Tech section. The rear frame section looks OK but I will pull all the back end off to give it a real clean and see what I have.TTFNAndy
