Rotary forum.....part deux

Post by Mick Taylor »

Back in 2013 I sold my Norton Rotary Classic LE066......having had a succession of RE5s and a DKW as well.......about six months later I had a few pangs of regret about the Norton and as time went on the regrets got a bit stronger until I started to bug the new owner (who is a top bloke incidentally) to let me have first refusal should he decide to sell it.

Move forward a year or two and the moment came.....I picked the bike up on Wednesday and towed it 220 miles home in tipping rain which did little for it's previously immaculate appearance cry .

Now it sits on my bench having had carb kits fitted, tomorrow is big clean day, then I'll start thinking about an MOT.

I was very keen to get this bike back because I know it's entire history and it has been Moly'd by Richard Negus himself....it's a good un' Very Happy

Glad to be back in the fold............Mick.
