Back in 2013 I sold my Norton Rotary Classic LE066......having had a succession of RE5s and a DKW as well.......about six months later I had a few pangs of regret about the Norton and as time went on the regrets got a bit stronger until I started to bug the new owner (who is a top bloke incidentally) to let me have first refusal should he decide to sell it.
Move forward a year or two and the moment came.....I picked the bike up on Wednesday and towed it 220 miles home in tipping rain which did little for it's previously immaculate appearance .
Now it sits on my bench having had carb kits fitted, tomorrow is big clean day, then I'll start thinking about an MOT.
I was very keen to get this bike back because I know it's entire history and it has been Moly'd by Richard Negus himself....it's a good un'
Glad to be back in the fold............Mick.
