Hello Chris,I'll bet your German, French, Italian and Romanisch is a lot better than mine. Your English looks pretty good too. Welcome to the forum !Why not consider building a special based on a Commander engine instead of F1. They are much easier to find and are far more fun to work on because:The plugs are at the front where they should be.Exhaust is at the back, where it should be.The engine turns clockwise looking from the drive end...I could go on smiley Norton did use the Commander engine for a while in the race bikes. The future of rotary engined specials is a point worthy of discussion. There are one or two low volume rotary engine producers (Aixro, UAV, Diamond? and others) Who produce engines without a gearbox so a belt or chain primary drive to a gearbox is a real possibility for a low volume production machine. I considered it myself for a while but decided the stress of bringing the bike to market would probably shorten my life greatly..Does anyone know of a gearbox we could use that wouldn't cost a fortune? I'd still love to make a few more rotarys.Graham

Hi Chris and welcomeI eco grahams comments, and can testify for all the f1 engine stuff/nsr stuff i have uncoverd for my progect theres 3 to 4 times as mutch for commander, consider purchaceing a cosmeticly rough commander with a mollyd engine, remove what you want an sell the rest. Thats what i will do if i build an rcw.Hi grahamhave you thought of having a race & special heding/section or watever you call it, then all the information for this subject would be together and easy to search past posts relating to this topicRegards Wayne

Thank you Graham and Wayne for your answer.I took my dictionary and translate.I have knowledge about the Suzuki Re5 , but for the Norton Rotary engine nothing. That's why I'm happy to have contact with you.Another things is ,I always love engine performance and maybe it's why I would like to find a F1 engine.I'm really love rotary engine and I would like to learn how a Norton rotary engine works. One of my old boss was an endurance and superbike rider.I learn a lot with him.One time he have the opportuneness to ride a Norton race bike and he tell me it's a great bike.Maybe it's for that I dream about the F1,but with my family I don't have the money to have one for me.That's why if I find an engine , I can build something by myself. I hope you can see the 2 pictures I put.Christian

Hi JB we discussed (at the begonia rally) the possibilty of reducing the price of these boxes if we could get a group together is there any progress on this?. If the price could be reduced enough I would be in the market for two.Dave Green
