Any of you roterians going to the NOC Rally in Kent on the 16th of Sept:?J.B.

I didn't go because I was on my way back from a Harley rally? riding a Honda? (It's a long story ) at Manston in Kent(and I'd forgot about it anyway )J.B.

Lovely colour very similar to a friend of mine's Bentley ,J.B.

Most car & truck rear fog lights only work when h/lights are on dip,J.B.

I can never understand people who own fabulous machines(bikes and cars)and never(or hardly ever)use them on the road,well ok,sometimes on the race track ,J.B.

It was a brilliant rally! (Hopefully the old body will be fit enough for me to attend the rally in Sweden next year ,)J.B.

Has this problem occurred since you fitted new plugs?and what electronic Ignition box is fitted to you bike?J.B.

If that is the case I would have thought the owner would have brought it to the NOC Rally in the Czech republic to show it off with the other two(that I saw)rotories,both Commanders,and it was a damn good rally!!J.B.

Self and four others from the Essex branch of the NOC are leaving on the 6th(next Monday)from Harwich to attend the NOC's International Rally in the Czech Republic,anyone else from the ROC going?J.B.

Yep,like Phillip,I replaced mine with trumpet air horns, (The original ones melted over time with the heat from Classic's engine )J.B.

I replaced mine on the Classic a couple of times,just normal horns from any reputable car spares shop,Halfords?J.B.

Looks a bit of a beast,is it as heavy as it looks?J.B.

Still worth getting one for future ref:( if you intend to keep the Commander) which those of us that have owned rotories would recommend ,J.B.

Speaking of "Miles per tyre", on my Classic I regularly got about 5000,on the back to 8/9000, on the front. Having just recently replaced the rear tyre on the Deauville,I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it had covered almost 10,000 miles Very Happy(no doubt due in part) to the 78...

Trev,once you have ridden your Commander for a few hundred miles all will be forgiven ,J.B.

A new chain Trev?on a Commander?do tell,(a VERY rare occurrence ,)J.B.

Or,just put the bike on the centre stand, jack under the engine close to the front jack it up 'til the rear tyre touches the floor and that should give you enough room to just drop the front wheel enough to fit the mudguard(just a suggestion, as I have never had to fit a front mudguard )J.B.

I agree with Holgar,look at the sort of daft money that Classics(and Classic replicas)are fetching ,J.B.

Unfortunately,in this modern drive for "clean engines" the poor old Rotory is a bit of a looser,Mazda must have spent shedloads of dosh trying to get the emissions down,(plus the truly horrendous fuel consumption) but even they had to admit defeat in the end ,but,who knows ,J.B.

Oh to be 50 years younger and win the lottery ,J.B.

I doubt that changing the oil will help,I had to put new sprag clutches twice in my Classic cry (they seem to be a bit of an "Achilles Heel" with air cooled rotories)I can't remember the exact mileage,but it wasn't that many and I no longer have the bike so I can't refer to the records,but...
